Ideacom International and CC&C are proud to announce that Apocalypse World War I has earned 4 nominations at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards, and a fifth nomination for Apocalypse 10 Lives – the digital media companion to the series.

Apocalypse World War I is written and directed by Isabelle Clarke and Daniel Costelle, creators of the famed historical series Apocalypse World War II and Apocalypse Hitler. In France, nearly 11 million people have seen at least one episode of the series, while in Canada, Apocalypse World War I garnered the largest audience over TV5 Québec Canada’s last 10 years.

A magnificent example of a Canada – France coproduction, the series takes a strategic and global approach to address fundamental historical questions, and also tells the story of this great tragedy with empathy and humanity. It has been broadcast so far in 50 countries as part of the WWI Centenary commemorations.

Apocalypse 10 Lives is also in nomination for the Best Original Program in Digital Media – Non fiction.
