This series takes an intimate look at the day-to-day lives of several families, in both urban and rural settings, who are at different stages of experimenting with a new way of life called “simple living”. This new trend appeals to a growing number of people who believe that life has us running a frustrating eternal cycle of work-TV-shopping-spending-buying-work-and-more-buying. Stuck in a vicious rat race, they find there is little time left for quality relationships with loved ones and no time at all for spiritual and personal growth. Tired of feeling helpless and hopeless, they seek a remedy for their shallow lives. These individuals are convinced that simple living offers them a way out, but this is often easier said than done.
