A living tableau of the world of farming and its fundamental issues at the beginning of the 21st century, seen through the lives of four families with different working and living conditions. The Crête family is engaged in dairy farming, the Champigny family in organic produce, the Van Windens in fresh produce crops, and the Dions in pig-farming. We discover the refreshing enthusiasm of human beings who love the land and the animals and their way of life, despite its increasing challenges.
